Serene Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Lugano, opened in December 2022. Since then we have organised 2 group exhibitions and 6 solo shows with artists such as Giovanni Leonardo Bassan, Alessio Boni, Konrad Weirebeck, Henning Strassburger and others. Serene Gallery was founded to offer new ideas and interpretations of art and promote promising young artists, as well as create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere of calm and acceptance, a serene haven with a human scale audience that is still motivated to interact. In this way, the gallery acts as a meeting point between different styles and evolving art movements.
Director and main curator of the Serene Gallery is Aleksandr Blanar. Since the beginning of 2010s Aleksandt worked as marketing director of Philips Auction House Moscow's department for eight years, during which time he realized a number of projects with major institutions like Cosmoscow International Contemporary Art Fair, Pechersky Family Foundation, Stars of Siberia Foundation, State Hermitage Museum, Thaddaeus Ropac Gallery, Multimedia Art Museum Moscow and others.
