The Art Gorgeous have conducted an interview with Augusta Alexander about his current exhibition at Serene Gallery - Emotional Anatomy.
"I use flowers as symbols to represent my “positive” emotions, in contrast to the stiff, symmetric spaces. Often, these flowers consist of various body parts, symbolizing spontaneity, asymmetry, and a sense of freedom. So, it’s not the flower that represents those emotions; rather, it’s the use of bodies that demonstrates an emotion by building different shapes."
