1. Can you tell us: have you always been drawn to art, and what drove you to become an artist?
I've always been drawn to art and have always expressed myself through drawing. An artist noticed me and told me I should dedicate myself to art; he convinced my parents to let me pursue an artistic career. A meeting that began thanks to a drawing gave me great opportunity and freedom.
2. When was the first moment in your life when you created a work of art?
How can you say you've created a work of art? For me, defining my work isn't important; what's important is being passionate about research that will then become a work of art; fleshing out multiple thoughts and leaving room for surprise and the unexpected. I'm interested in seeing through the eyes of those who observe my work; capturing different nuances and points of view.
3. What's your creative process before starting a new work? Do you plan ahead what you'll paint or sculpt, or do you let it come more naturally? Tell us about it.
I prepare carefully, choose techniques and formats, then let everything come naturally.
4. Do you have anyone in the art world who inspires you? If so, who is it and why?
I have several sources of inspiration in the art world, and there are some works that have remained etched in my memory, such as Albrecht Dürer's Apostles.
5. Who do you consider your greatest source of inspiration (not necessarily from the art world)?
My sources of inspiration vary, for example, right now I'm interested in the fourth dimension; I particularly love philosophical thought.
6. Tell us about your favorite piece currently at Serene Gallery. Why is it your favorite?
I'd say the Triptych [see above] because it's an evolution of the "between timeless sequences" series, and it's still a mystery even to me. I have a much larger work in mind following this new path.
7. Is there a story behind it, or is it more of an emotional connection to the work?
There's always a story and, at the same time, an emotional connection.
8. What is your greatest aspiration as an artist?
To be able to continue my research and share it.

1. Ci puoi raccontare: sei sempre stato/a attratto/a dall’arte e cosa ti ha spinto a diventare artista?
Sono sempre stata attratta dall’arte e da sempre mi esprimo attraverso il disegno. Un artista mi ha notato e mi ha detto che avrei dovuto dedicarmi all’arte; ha convinto i miei genitori a lasciarmi intraprendere la strada per diventare artista. Un incontro nato grazie a un disegno che mi ha dato una grande opportunità e libertà.
2. Qual è stato il primo momento nella tua vita in cui hai creato un’opera d’arte?
Come si può dire di avere creato un’opera d’arte? Per me definire il mio lavoro non è importante, è importante appassionarmi a una ricerca che poi diventerà un’opera; concretizzare più pensieri e lasciare spazio alla sorpresa, all’imprevisto. Mi interessa vedere attraverso gli occhi di chi osserva il mio lavoro; cogliere diverse sfumature e punti di vista.
3. Qual è il tuo processo creativo prima di iniziare un nuovo lavoro? Pianifichi in anticipo cosa dipingerai o scolpirai oppure lascia che venga più naturalmente? Parlacene.
Mi preparo in modo accurato, scelgo tecniche e formato, poi lascio che tutto arrivi naturalmente.
4. Hai qualcuno nel mondo dell’arte a cui ti ispiri? Se sì, chi è e perché?
Ho diverse fonti di ispirazioni nel mondo dell’arte e ci sono alcune opere che sono rimaste impresse nella mia memoria come ad esempio gli apostoli di Albrecht Dürer.
5. Chi consideri la tua più grande fonte di ispirazione (non necessariamente dal mondo artistico)?
La fonte di ispirazione varia, per esempio in questo momento sono interessata alla quarta dimensione; amo in modo particolare il pensiero filosofico.
6 .Raccontaci del tuo pezzo preferito attualmente alla Serene Gallery. Perché è il tuo preferito?
Direi il trittico perché è un’evoluzione della serie: “tra sequenze atemporali” ed è ancora un mistero anche per me. Ho in mente un lavoro molto più grande seguendo questa nuova traccia.
7. C’è una storia dietro o è più un legame emotivo con l’opera?
C’è sempre una storia e nello stesso tempo un legame emotivo.
8. Qual è la tua più grande aspirazione come artista?
Poter continuare la mia ricerca e poterla condividere.
