Sébastien’s oil paintings feature silent figures, often accompanied by animals, placed in enigmatic situations with pastel colours, tinged with both softness and brutality.
His works are created from images he collects, which are then assembled into collages, projected onto the canvas, and used as the foundation for the painting. This process, blending references to classical painting with autobiographical details, enables him to explore themes such as desire, isolation, animality, and childhood in works that question and reflect on both social and more personal realities.
In 2025 he had his first solo show 'Fugues' in Moosey Gallery in Norwich, United Kingdom.
