Susanna Baumgartner

Born in Munich on January 23, 1964, Susanna is of German and Swiss nationality and lives and works in Lugano and Milan. After graduating in Painting from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, she obtained a specialised diploma in Theory and Practice of Art Therapy and later taught History and Models of Art Therapy at ABABO (Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna) for the Biennium of Art Didactics. She currently teaches at the CSIA in Lugano and has exhibited in various galleries or museums such as Galleria Toselli, Nowhere gallery, Assab One in Milan, Kunstraum Leccese-Sprüth in Cologne, MADEINBRITALY in London, Kunstraum t27 in Berlin, Museo Cantonale d'Arte in Lugano.
Susanna is also the author of books such as "Events to Come," "I Remain," "From a Word," and a co-author of "Walking the Horizon", "Windows" and "And Trallerallera - A Tribute to James Joyce's Ulysses".
